Who is “El Nacho”?

Born in Chihuahua, raised in the cliffs of Copper Canyon and fueled by the traditions & foods of their ancestral Rarámuri. El Nacho gained a hard fought reputation as a world class luchador in the rings of Mexico. Having eaten too many bad tortilla chips in their travels across North America, a decision was made to create the greatest chip ever. Using only the finest corn and ancient nixtamal techniques, El Nacho Tortilla Chips were born. They spread through all the lands bringing salty, crunchy smiles to millions of their fans. Alpine Tortilla Company

Open in 2023 and located in Waltham, MA. Alpine Tortilla Company is a local brand focusing on the craft of tortilla making. Utilizing the same techniques of our Aztecan ancestors. We cook whole grain corn with water and lime and use hand-carved volcanic stones to grind the corn mixture - a process known as “Nixtamalization.”
